At Your Pets & Us, animals always come first. It’s a partnership between animal owners and us. Maintaining active communication on a regular basis is a priority. We strive to insure that all care is provided with the best interest of each and every pet in mind.
Bev Pero, Founder and Director
As a professional petsitter for over 20 years, Bev Pero brings many years of experience working with animals to Your Pets & Us. During her younger years, she worked as a technician assisting a local vet, performing kennel duties as well as assisting with surgery preparation. Her love for horses carried her into working as a trail guide, riding instructor and barn manager. She has also worked for the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Department, supporting a group of fishery biologists for several years. Some of the highlights during these rewarding years were deep sea fishing trips along with bear tagging expeditions in Western Massachusetts.
Even though she has worked with animals for many years, she still maintains a strong desire to keep learning about them. Her work ethic is strong, and she is dependable, responsible, competent and sincere. These qualities are reflected in the positive and happy feedback from her clients.

I have been privileged to work with Bev Pero for over seven years, and the care that she puts into tending her client's animals is evident. I have four cats and had dogs when I was growing up. I treat all of our client's pets as if they were my own. The animals continue to teach me something new every day, and they make my job enjoyable!

Even though I did not grow up with pets, dogs have somehow become my life. I’ve been working with them casually for several years, and these days I spend almost all my time covered in fur & slobbery kisses!
When I’m not with dogs, you can find me exploring the woods, writing or with a camera in my hands.
